Madeline
This is a commissioned portrait of a girl named Madeline when she was younger. It's a combination of about 4 different photos of her that I used for reference. The background is all made up. The cats are mostly based off of reference but I had to make up a little bit to alter the poses. I'm happy with it but, I am more than open to suggestions or comments. This was a lot of fun to paint! Please comment.

SO cute!!! I love Sunny and Sam too!
she is so cute. i love the look on her face. she looks so happy.
I'm really liking the direction your going with the images you've done after digital class. The work is good, and I think a lot of it is because you have been working with reference. Once I started getting reference it made a world of difference in my work. Good stuff!
Nice! I love the way you are communicating textures-the dress and the rock wall especially. The expressions on the cats and the girl tell the story for me. I like it.
I love it!!! It brings back so many great memories of the little gray house and life on the lake! Beautiful job.
I Love, Love Love it. You did a wonderful job! Leilani
