Monkey Love (Work in Progress) **Updated**

This is a sketch for an illustration I'm working on. I happen to know that foliage, branches, leaves, etc. are not my strong suite so, I am purposefully doing an illustration full of all of the above to push myself. I think i'm going to put more leaves and stuff in the background. But this gives a general idea of what i'm working on. I would love any input I can get.

** I've updated it a bit since the first 3 comments**

Your boy monkey looks like he's sad, or reluctant, in stead of shy, maybe you can have him biting his lip or at least have his eyes looking at her. Or maybe his eyes could be squeezed shut like he's afraid. Also, I might make the girl monkey a bit more slender with a bit longer face and more graceful tail. Looks awesome so far, keep it up!

See it's interesting that you say that because I had him looking at her in the first place but my group told me to make him look away. I'll keep working on it though. Thanks!

him looking away interested me! more leaves sounds good although I like the light ray so try not to blot it out too much imo

Umm... I, personally, would make the girl's face more of an oval, it's a bit square right now. Also, I'd make her more sleek, less poofy.

I really like this one! Any illustration of the outdoors (naturaleza) is a '10' in my book. Keep it up buddy!
