June Cover

     Recently I was given the great privilege of painting the cover for the Friend magazine. The Friend is a children's magazine produced by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was a blast to work on. Enjoy!

Hey Mike,
Thanks! I had a blast working on it. Yeah, in January I went down and met with some of the art directors. They emailed me a few weeks later and asked if I'd like to do the cover. It was a surprise I'll tell you that! They were super nice to work with and it was a great experience.
