MY2K Blog Featurette

I recently had the honor to appear as a guest artist on the MY2K website http://www.my2k.com/2010/04/sitton-art.html. Susan, the author of the website took interest in one of my recent paintings, "The Conjurer". Her website is dedicated to Mayan culture and more specifically to the Mayan calendar's prediction of the world's end in 2012. There are some very interesting pieces of history, lore, and imagery on her site. Take a look! Susan specifically requested that I post the photo that I used for reference for this painting. Enjoy!

Hey man, I just joined this blogging community and came across your page. The one thing I really like, and I think will help in the long run, is your artistic diversity. Most artists rely on one type of drawing/illustration. You seem to have a plethora of themes/ideas. Keep up the good work and best of luck to you.

You got some serious skills, bro. Keep up the goodwork. Do you also do jobs besides just portret paintings?

Thanks!

Yes, I do just about everything art related: Portraits, Illustrations, Fine Art, Logos, Graphic Design, etc. I even dabble a teeny bit in 3D animation.

That's really cool. You have interesting perspective. I also like the imagery that you use. I wonder if there is any embedded symbolism in your work. Very cool indeed!

Nice work Stephen. My wife studies graphic design and digital imaging, so I am not a stranger to the amazing artworks that photoshop can produce. Well done.
